CCCRA 2019 Annual Gathering
Time & Location
About The Event
Great Communities Build Great Trails!
You may know CCCRA from the Historic Courthouse/Beal Center. Or you may know us from the summer concert series or the Cherokee Exhibits. But did you know we are the non-profit behind the Jackrabbit Mountain Trail System? The collaboration between SABA (Southern Appalachian Bicycle Association), CCCRA and the USFS (United States Forest Service) continues at Jackrabbit Mountain Trail System.
Want to know more? Join us for our annual gathering Thursday, October 24th from 6-8pm at the Historic Courthouse/Beal Center on the square in Hayesville. Our guest speakers are: Deborah Caffin, USFS Trails Programs Leader, who will share the national strategy for a sustainable trail system and what that means for Clay County; and Ed and Sophia Sutton, owners of Trail Dynamics, who will provide insight to the upcoming expansion at the popular local trail.
Registration begins at 5:30pm. Bring a covered dish to share. Tea/Water/Coffee are provided and a cash bar is available. Everyone is welcome. Grab a friend and join us for a wonderful evening. Visit www.cccra-nc.org or call (828) 415-1623.
